C. Clay Harrell Arboretum

The Arboretum was dedicated at Honor Heights Park in June of 1992, and Memorial and Honor Trees are part of this botanical collection. Citizens may contribute throughout the year, and trees are planted in the spring, which is dedicated at our Arbor Day Ceremony in the park in March. Donations are accepted for each tree in the amount of $300.00, which includes purchase of the tree, plaque, upkeep of tree, and replacement if the tree should die. Markers are placed at the base of the tree, designating the tree species, botanical name, and will include the name of the person memorialized. Fifty percent of the cost for a dedication tree is added to The Arboretum Conservation Fund to ensure perpetual care of the tree.

Memorial Forms and Information are available under "Forms & Publications".
